Jasson Guevara

 

Jasson Guevara has been working for Shining Light Ministries since we received the Byrne Grant to open the youth center in 2012 as the outreach coordinator.  His work with Pastor Steve began in 2006 while he was working for the Partnership for Latino Success.  Prior to working in Fitchburg, he worked for ROCA in Chelsea, MA, and has been a positive influence in the lives of countless at-risk and high-risk youth here in Fitchburg for almost 10 years.  

Besides his work at the youth center, he also oversees the mentoring program at the Wachusett Boxing Club.  After spending time mentoring the youth there, he then volunteers his time teaching them boxing.
